“The riffraff among the people had a craving and soon they had the People of Israel whining, “Why can’t we have meat? We ate fish in Egypt—and got it free!—to say nothing of the cucumbers and melons, the leeks and onions and garlic. But nothing tastes good out here; all we get is manna, manna, manna.”” Numbers 11:4-6
Imagine if Moses had listened to the loudest voices. The complainers. Israel would have been right back in slavery in Egypt. Would that have solved the problem? Hardly!
Loud does not equal large. Those who complain and resist positive change have no vision for the future. Only the past. And the past is the only truly impossible vision. We can’t ever go back. Time is always moving on.
So, as you’re making progress to improve your life, marriage, job, etc, remember who NOT to listen too. Even Peter urged Jesus not to go to Jerusalem.Share This:
