We are a family of missionary servants sent as disciples to make disciples.
God started a revolution of grace through Jesus Christ and we’re taking that message to the world starting right here in Atlantic, Iowa. God, though Jesus, has welcomed all of us into his family. That’s what the Church is—the family of God.
Jesus commands us to go everywhere and make disciples, teaching them to obey everything He commanded. At FCC, we are missionaries. A missionary is someone who sacrifices everything but the gospel for the sake of the gospel. Everything that we do is designed to proclaim the revolutionary love and grace of God. The amazing message that while we were powerless, lost in sin, Jesus died for us, offering us new life in him.
At FCC we are servants of God and servants to the world. ‘Servant’ describes our posture to the world. It is the approach we take, the attitude we express through all that we do. In this, we imitate Christ who “came not to be served but to serve” (Mark 10:45). Our goal is to be selfless; sacrificial; always seeking the good of others over ourselves, for the sake of Christ and his mission to the world.
FCC is much more than a place to attend. We’re a family centered on the person and mission of Jesus Christ. FCC is a place to belong; a place to serve the community. FCC is a place to change the world! We invite you to explore the website and learn how you, too, fit into the revolution of Grace God has started though Jesus!
